Dealers in trouble as SPV facility looking questionable

"The SPV was set up to provide support for motor dealers in Australia struggling to secure refinance on their floorplans from GMAC or GE who have announced a desire not to enter the market. RAC to withdraw from dealer finance in Western Australia

One of the reasons given was the changing economic climate and credit crunch was impacting negatively in this portion of their business. It is understood that the RAC will still continue to offer finance for cars, but only for their existing members.
